About
The film, Macbeth, touches on themes such as secrecy, sex and the smoke and mirrors that come with the topic of queer desire, especially in Singapore. The narrative and unsurety of the film reflects the ambiguous decision-making made by this particular law: Section 377A. The scene switches from four men having dinner (public, not a crime) to a hint at an orgy (not punishable but still viewed as an offense in the eyes of the government.) Sexual health matters here specifically with regards to getting public recognition for support not just for queer relationships, but polyamorous relationships as well.
