About
Conceptualised a set of fine jewellery based on Fluxus ethos and accompanying campaign and product images. created digital collages exploring the relationship between human and the five senses. DESIGNED A BRAND BOOK THAT MIMICS A CHEQUE BOOK, WITH CONTENT RANGING FROM THE BRAND’S INTERPRETATION OF THE NINE GREEK MUSES TO THE EXPLORATION OF THE COLLECTION THEME AND ITS FINAL EXECUTION.
Flux by DILETTANTE explores the intricate relationship between the development of Singapore’s sanitation in the 1960s and modern-day maximalist sensibilities. With influences from art movements such as Dadaism and Fluxus, this project is both a discussion and response to the theoretical limits of Maximalism. The artefacts designed are largely linked to the 5 senses as we include observations that pair sensory stimulations to bathroom facilities. Working on the basis of commodified luxury, satire and experimentation, pieces from this collection are meant to resemble the following products of aristocracy: money clip, opera glasses, equestrian gloves, airpods and a cigarette holder.
